In 1978, the #3776 series was launched under the leadership of designer Haruo Umeda,
becoming one of the most renowned collections in modern times.
Named after the height of Mount Fuji at 3,776 meters,
the #3776 series pays homage to Japan’s highest peak, a symbol of national pride and a revered sacred site for the Japanese people.
 

In 2024, the Japanese writing instrument brand Platinum collaborates with South Korea
to introduce a region-exclusive fountain pen inspired by coffee culture.
